I took on Goddess Lunalunalune‘s shoe cleaning service. Setting things up was simple - she’s friendly, approachable and easy to talk to.

We chose a pair of well worn leather flats that had scuff marks and salt stains on them. She wore them for a few days before hand (barefoot) and sent proof of wear pics. Very nice touch and something most sellers don’t offer for shoe cleaning listings.

The shoes arrived in good time and were packed well with a nice personal note inside. The shoes were not the cheap, crappy, throwaways you tend to get for cleaning - these were well worn but not cheap shoes. That made a nice difference.

I got to work cleaning the salt stains off and updated Goddess with progress pics. Then came the real work - polishing, buffing and shining the leather (two sessions did the trick and the leather was looking bright and fresh). As an added touch, I cleaned up the soles and got surprisingly good results considering how much these have clearly been worn.

Goddess was very encouraging and appreciative throughout. She has a subtle air of dominance about her, always calling me pet, which I really appreciated.

Cleaning her shoes was an enjoyable challenge and a genuine pleasure. Highly recommended.
